WHOIS is the public protocol showing the basic information of a domain name: whether it is registered, when it was registered, when it expires and which registrar administers it. For .al domains, the registry is administered under AKEP.

What data is shown

For .al, limited information is displayed. Registrant personal data is protected under Law No. 9887 of 10.03.2008 on the protection of personal data, so it is not published the same way as for some international extensions.
